About
Codden Hill was once a D&S Condors site but, due to its location, is now managed by North Devon HGPG. The site is still treated as a Condors site for the purposes of entry into our XC League
Located a few miles to the South of Barnstaple, Codden can become strongly thermic and turbulent in certain wind conditions and is therefore Pilot rated.
The NDHGPG site guide can be found at:-
All pilots using Devon & Somerset Condors HGPG sites must be current BHPA flying members, hold a minimum rating of CP Hill and obtain a site brief from a pilot who regularly flies the site.
