Following their move to Les Basse Beaumettes over a year ago Ruth and Ulric Jessop have spent their time converting part of their property into a beautiful self catering apartment so that others can share their love of the flyers paradise that is the Alpes Maritime in southern France.

The wheel chair accessible accommodation comprises a kitchen, large double /twin bedroom, en suite shower/wc, with private garden directly outside. An easy 1.5hours drive from Nice, Les Basse Beaumettes is centrally located between the popular flying sites of Col de Bleyne (15 mins), Lachens (30 mins), St Andres les Alpes (40 mins), Greoliere, (30 mins). Gourdon, (40 mins) and Monaco (1.5 hours). Most of the sites have tarmac roads to take off and range from intermediate friendly year round soaring to everything the dedicated cross country hound (HG and PG) could possibly desire. For non flyers the area is excellent for hill walking, rock climbing, rafting/kayaking, caving, cycling and has a host of sleepy villages to explore.
